My Approach

Stimulating additional support and nurturing are the most effective ways to enable learners to progress that bit further.

The bedrock of my tutoring work is finding what inspires a particular student. So in my induction sessions I get to know what the student enjoys doing and how they like to learn. Using this, I design study plans in collaboration with learners and prepare resources to meet their individual needs. Over time this helps learners learn to focus and concentrate for longer periods.

I take a holistic, non-judgemental approach to teaching and I am focused on facilitating the individual learning journey: working collaboratively students develop both deep level cognition skills and their own tools to learn independently.
